This month's speaker will be Mr. Delbert Reed, an author and former Tuscaloosa News sports editor. The meeting will be held at the Fayette Civic Center beginning at noon. Come a little early to get your plate and socialize with friends and other business people of the Fayette area. Visitors are welcome. Lunch is $6.00.

The 2015 Fayette County Sports Hall of Fame Banquet will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 6:30 PM at the Earl McDonald Auditorium on the campus of Bevill State. Admission price is $15 and may be purchased at Fayette Civic Center and the Fayette City Hall.
This will be the last Tunes on Temple show this year. Come out for the signing, recognition of the 5-6 year old State Baseball runner-ups, classic cars, Bill McCollum's fish and bbq and more. It all begins just after 5 PM so bring a lawn chair, food, drinks and a friend.
As a local support group the Grieving Hearts group encourages those suffering the grief of having lost a loved one or dear friend to attend. The loss need not be recent as those who have overcome this difficult time and wish to share their comfort with others are also welcome to participate.
