VA Choice Program representatives will hold 2 sessions (at 11 and 1) to answer questions about the new program for veterans.

Representatives from the Veterans Affairs will be at the Fayette Civic Center to answer questions.

Come see the paintings, photography, jewelry, ceramics, tiles and other home decor items on display from local artists.

Come learn about services available to veterans through the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center and the Birmingham Vet Center.

Fayette Area Chamber of Commerce meets at Noon the 1st Tuesday of each month except January and July. Meetings are held in the North Dining Room of the Fayette Civic Center. Lunch may be purchased for $6. Visitors are welcome to attend and listen to speakers representing the community and area .

The Red Cross Blood Mobile will be at the Fayette Regional Medical Center.

City Hall will be closed Monday May 25th for observance of Memorial Day. Office will re-open at regular hours on May 26.

Guest speaker will be Lawanda Vanhorn of the Veteran's Administration.
