Fayette Area Chamber of Commerce meets at Noon the 1st Tuesday of each month except January and July. Meetings are held in the North Dining Room of the Fayette Civic Center. Lunch may be purchased for $6. Visitors are welcome to attend and listen to speakers representing the community and area .

The Red Cross Blood Mobile will be at the Fayette Regional Medical Center.

City Hall will be closed Monday May 25th for observance of Memorial Day. Office will re-open at regular hours on May 26.

Guest speaker will be Lawanda Vanhorn of the Veteran's Administration.

Sandlin's Crossing will be playing at 5:30 - Fish and Shrimp served at 5:00.

This will be a forum to show how the downtown area and be revitalized as a center of progress and economic development.

There will be a joint meeting of the Fayette City Council and the Fayette Water Board following the regular City Council meeting on June 23.
