As a local support group the Grieving Hearts group encourages those suffering the grief of having lost a loved one or dear friend to attend. The loss need not be recent as those who have overcome this difficult time and wish to share their comfort with others are also welcome to participate.
St. Michael's Episcopal Church will host the May meeting of the Progress Club. This will be a Salad Luncheon so bring a dish. New officers for the year will be installed during the luncheon. Note the time of the meeting - 11:30.
Glen Baxter with the Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program will be this month's speaker. The public is welcome to attend. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Fayette Civic Center. Lunch, if purchased, is $6.
